Fast Money Club

This week I have been pondering whether to charge a small fee for you to join the "Fast Money Club", or if I should make it completely free for you. I have been weighing the pros & cons of this decision based on the mission of the Penny Millions project.

Remember, it is my mission to reach out and touch the lives of over a million people with this website. I want to altruistically GIVE this information to as many people as possible to leave a lasting legacy of hope & inspiration. Charging a fee for the "Fast Money Club" might have some benefits, which I'll explain below, but I'm not sure if I want to do that, which I will also explain. Again, I need YOUR help to help me to decide what to do. Read this entire page to find out how to voice your opinion to me.

Pros & Cons of "Fee Based"

Affiliates Help The Mission

Having a "product" that professional affiliates can promote to get a commission from it of course is beneficial to the Penny Millions mission to get the "word out" to as many people as possible (over a million is the goal). How? Professional affiliates often have large lists of people (many thousands) that they could send out a message to thus letting them know about Penny Millions. Affiliates are "greedy" in that they would only promote something if they expect to get a profit from it (they typically don't do charity promotions). If I make the "Fast Money Club" a product that they could profitably promote then they could make a huge impact upon the goal of the mission, of letting a million people benefit from this website. This is actually the biggest reason why I am contemplating charging for the "Fast Money Club". See the "Affiliates" page I have already created.

People Value What They Pay For

Over the years I keep on noticing that people value "expensive" things, and that "free" things are often considered worthless. I have actually spoken to a number of people who voluntarily suggested I charge for Penny Millions for this exact reason. The concern is that if I simply "give away" Penny Millions for free, and the super-duper high-quality information that will be in the "Fast Money Club", that people won't take it seriously, will take it for granted, and ultimately won't do it. Conversely, if I charge a fee for this information it will be "valued", it will be taken seriously, and ultimately more people would act upon the suggestions to implement what is being taught.

With one person I spoke with I pointed out that I could easily charge a $300 per month membership fee to mentor a small group of people (say 100 people) and help them to make a $100,000 or more for themselves. I know that I could easily do that as what I have to offer is actually worth more than that. I know that I could easily get over 100 members into such a program and be making a phenomenal income for myself (over thirty thousand dollars per month, about a third of a million dollars a year). However, as I pointed out to that person, though I could easily pull this off it would only be to make money for myself (selfish) and it would not contribute to the altruistic mission that I have set. Therefor I don't want to do this... I would rather help a hundred-thousand people rather than just a measly hundred.

Demonstrating "Internet Marketing" Success

This "pro" also has an embedded "con". I will explain both here.

As part of the "Publicity Stunt" I am demonstrating how easy it is to make money starting from ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and am showing my results in the "See Me Go" section. I am doing a broad range of business strategies to show that different things work, not just one or two things, and I'm even being redundant by doing multiple business deals at lower levels to simply demonstrate different techniques. One of the strategies I am implementing to demonstrate how easy it is to make money from it (as I plan to teach you) is Internet Marketing. It is soooo darned easy to make money via Internet Marketing, like $100,000 or more, it is like shooting fish in a barrel - I could easily show this off to you, and even teach you how to do it yourself. By charging a fee for the "Fast Money Club" I would effectively demonstrate that I am making money from offering these teachings online. The "con" however is that I would make sooooooooooooo much money from doing so that it would be apparent that the bulk of the money I am making is from this activity. Again, I want to demonstrate making money by various means, and ones that you are more likely to do yourselves. So the question to myself is "do I do it regardless and show this as a demonstration of Internet Marketing success, or do I not include the profits from this as part of my personal Penny Millions project which I show everyone, or do I not do it at all?"

Pros & Cons of "Free Based"

Almost as a corollary to the above statements, it is easy to surmise what the "pros & cons" would be by simply reversing the points from the section above. There are a few points worth sharing in this discussion...

"FREE" Benefits Everyone & The Mission

The biggest reason for offering Penny Millions for free, and possibly the "Fast Money Club", is to be able to reach the greatest amount of people possible. By charging something, even a tiny token fee, I know that many people simply would drop like flies, and thus they wouldn't even have a chance to experience all this for themselves.

Ironically the people who need Penny Millions the most simply can not afford even a small "token fee". Huh? That's right, believe it or not there are other people in the world and other countries than just the United States of America (singling them out simply because Americans do account for the bulk of web traffic). Though this might come as a shock to some Americans & others of us living in our cozy "Wealthy Nations", there are many people who live in countries who earn as their monthly salaries that what many of us might spend on a fun day. I want to be able to help everyone from all walks of life, income categories, and nationalities with what is being taught here at Penny Millions. Of course I don't care what ethnic group you're a part of either, as that has nothing to do with whether you could afford to participate in the "Fast Money Club".

So by offering Penny Millions and the "Fast Money Club" for free could have the greatest benefit for everyone that comes here. This is most in alignment with my "altruistic mission".

Need Help To Promote

Without the aid of professional affiliate marketers promoting Penny Millions I will have to rely on other more creative ways to get the message out there to more people. Sure I have some nifty ideas, like getting publicized in the media (TV, Radio, Magazines, Newspapers, etc.), but I can't do it all alone... I do need some more help to get things rolling.

If I don't charge a fee, making the "Fast Money Club" available for free, then I would need YOUR HELP to promote Penny Millions to pick up the slack of not having an affiliate force behind this. I have devised a way for you to help out with this, and when you voice your opinion (explained below) about how you want for me to proceed with the "Fast Money Club" (do you want it free or for a fee?) you can mention which option you prefer. If you want it for free then you have to help me to accomplish the mission of getting Penny Millions out there helping a lot of people.

The Deal To Have It FREE

You would have to help me out with the mission of getting Penny Millions out to a lot of people. If you succeed then I promise you that the "Fast Money Club" will be completely free as long as the objectives are met. No hidden catches, no strings attached... it'll be free!

I'll share my wealth of amazing ideas with you for free if you pay-it-forward by getting other people involved with Penny Millions. Check out the "Share This!" page for more ideas.

In a nutshell I would rely upon YOU to be the goodwill ambassadors to promote Penny Millions to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, family, and other people that you meet. Would you be willing to convince three, just 3, people per month to come join the site? Surely each month you meet way more than just 3 persons in your regular interactions with people. Simply tell them about Penny Millions, why you think it is so great, what you have accomplished by following the strategy yourself, and instruct them (twist their arms if you have to) to go sign up for the free Penny Millions newsletter and enjoy all that it has to offer. Remember, this makes for some great conversations too, especially if you're talking with a boring person ;)

There, that isn't so hard now is it? Rather than paying ME money to access the "Fast Money Club" (and making me even richer) instead you're paying it forward to just 3 other people (helping them to get rich too).

If as of September 1, 2008 there are 20,000 subscribers enjoying Penny Millions then I will realize that I don't need affiliates to make the mission happen and I will give you the "Fast Money Club" for free!

I won't change my mind later trying to sell it to you, I swear. The same good-stuff I was thinking about charging you money for will be available to you for free!
